Smoked cheese is a soft and creamy cheese with a slight smoky taste. The cheese is first melted with melting salts and then again solidified in sausage molds. Then the cheese is smoked over a fire with beech wood. Due to the smoke flavor this cheese gets its savory taste. Because of this smoking process  the cheese gets a crunchy light brown crust. The cheese tastes good on bread, but also with a drink because of its savory taste!
