Farmer cheese

Farmer cheese is a protected, traditional specialty from the Netherlands. The cheese is produced from raw milk (not pasteurized), making the taste fuller, creamier and richer. With a longer ripening, the taste can become intense to quite spicy. The farmers’ cheeses differ from each other because they are regional products that are also produced according to traditional ways.
